Most kids whose parents are willing to buy them an iPad (or have already bought them an iPad) are doing well at school. And their parents would definitely give the nod to them using an iPad for schoolwork. Infact, more than 89% of these parents have children doing well at school.
This iYogi Insights Consumer Research delves into what parents think of buying an iPad for their children - our study seeks to find out if iPad is counted among more accepted educational devices such as PCs, laptops and netbooks? Is it is a high-end toy or is it an educational tool? This online survey was conducted among iYogi customers through an online survey questionnaire. A total of 2124respondents took the survey, which consisted of nine questions to reveal the attitude of American parents towards buying an iPad for their children and how they would allow them to use it. The data collected was collated, analyzed and compared to identify, assess and quantify trends and opinions.
